AKA Foundation of Central PA Fundraiser

The AKA Foundation of Central Pennsylvania, Inc. is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization that was established in June 2011.  The Foundation provides support and programs that advance and promote healthy lifestyle, educational advancement, economic empowerment, and environmental sustainability in the Greater Harrisburg community. The Foundation’s programs include, but are not limited to, It’s About You Women’s Leadership Conference, Emerging Young Leaders STEM Youth Summit, Grateful Scholars Program, It’s About You Community Health and Wellness Expo, Health Village, Heart Health Programs, Diabetes and Awareness Programs, Energy Education and Conservation Forums, Utility Customer Assistance Programs, Teen Money Camp, Financial Freedom Expo, and literacy.  Additionally, the Foundation supports Central Pennsylvania Food Bank, Bethesda Women’s Mission, Brethren Housing Association, American Heart Association Capital Region, and Camp Curtin YMCA Urban Garden Program.
